For a lack of time, i didn’t finished my Wuppertal panorama for the cssreboot. But after two weeks of stood still in Wuppertal, i bring it back to live. I create eight different weather conditions. Just hit the all-seeing eye and play a little god with Wuppertal.
The panorama is loaded by AJAX. Without Javascript you get only the static one.
Now i just have to smooth the rain animation, animate sun and moon and connect the panorama to a weather-feed.
Internet Explorer
An yes, it should work with IE again. I received some emails and comments with hints for PNG support in IE. Thanks a allot, but i thought that the previous version of the panorama was a very funny joke. Probably i was the only one:

That depends on what is meant with proper rendering.
The version i cssrebooted with was valid CSS. Now i have conditional comments and the CSS delivered to IE is not valid because of M$‘s filter.
It’s a pity that Internet Explorer doesn’t render better.
What ever, it works now in my IE, hope in yours, too.

Bastian, you’re having way too much fun! I’m glad it’s back!
I personally liked the grey PNG for IE. It’s a great way to get people to switch :). I think for personal sites, IE users can deal with their browser bugs. Why bother fixing a broken browser?
